    SUMMER FEEDING PROGRAMS

    Many area churches and civic organizations donate non-perishable food items to families of free lunch students in Hartselle and the surrounding Morgan County areas.  

  • Alabama SUN Bucks Logo

    SUN Bucks/Program is a grocery benefit program that helps combat childhood hunger in Alabama, providing $120 for each eligible school-aged child during the summer for groceries. Starts May/June 2025. 

    If you receive SNAP/FDPIR benefits, your school-age children are automatically eligible for the Alabama SUN Bucks/Program. You won’t need to apply.
